תיאור המשרה:
• for a young and dynamic startup developing electromagnetic (millimeter-wave) deep drilling technology, with the goal of making geothermal energy accessible anywhere in the world – a technology expected to dramatically change the energy market.
• We are looking for a Senior / Lead Mechanical Engineer who thrives in early-stage environments and knows how to take complex systems from idea to working hardware.
• The role requires creativity, independence, leadership and influence – full ownership from concept and CAD through prototype and field testing.
• Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical design of drilling systems Develop large mechanical assemblies (meter-scale), including energy transmission, thermal management and fluid-flow systems Perform FEA and structural analysis Design for manufacturability (DFM) and cost efficiency Plan and execute lab and field testing Work closely with RF, thermal and fluid engineers on system integration Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers in Israel and abroad Create and maintain complete engineering documentation Location: Tel Aviv

דרישות המשרה:
• 8+ years of mechanical design experience, across all stages of the product development cycle Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software Hands-on experience with FEA, DFM and materials selection Proven experience designing and building complex mechanical systems Ability to work independently, lead and influence, and move projects forward in uncertain environments Experience with large mechanical systems (meter scale) – advantage
• Experience with fluid-flow systems (hydraulics / chemical or process industry) – advantage
• Experience with high-power thermal systems – advantage
• Hands-on experience assembling and testing hardware – advantage
• Skiils: 3D CAD (SolidWorks), FEA, DFM, Materials, Mechanical Design, Large Mechanical Assemblies, Hydraulics / Fluid Flow, Thermal Management, Prototyping & Testing
• Experience with fluid-flow systems (hydraulics / chemical or process industry) – advantage
