תיאור המשרה:
CONTROP is looking for an experienced Control Engineer to join our multidisciplinary R&D department and contribute to the development, integration, and testing of advanced electro-optical systems.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement control and stabilization algorithms.
• Model and analyze dynamic systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Generate control SW from Simulink models and support its integration into embedded software.
• Participate in system integration, simulations, laboratory experiments, and field tests.
• Analyze system performance and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with software, electronics, mechanical, systems, and production teams.
• Support products throughout development and production.

Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3 years of relevant control-engineering experience.
• Good knowledge of classical control, dynamic-system modeling, stabilization control, and time and frequency domain analysis.
• Practical experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based design.
• Hands-on experience in developing, navigating, and debugging C code is required.
• Hands-on experience in integrating Simulink-generated code into embedded C software is required.
• Familiarity with motion-control and stabilization sensors, including IMUs, gyroscopes, and encoders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Advantages:
• Experience with motion-control, stabilization, or electro-optical systems.
• Familiarity with real-time embedded systems or hardware-in-the-loop testing.
• Experience with motors, microcontrollers, communication protocols, or laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of signal processing, observers, Kalman filtering, system identification, loop shaping, or tracking algorithms.
• Experience in the defense industry.
