The BARD Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Scientific Program Manager. BARD Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to promoting US-Israeli collaboration of research and development of topics that foster innovation in agriculture, food, and nutrition.
Position: Scientific Manager of Research Grant Programs
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: BARD office, Agriculture Center, Derech Hamakabim, Rishon LeZion
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee the submission and evaluation of research proposals in various application tracks funded by the BARD foundation.
• Communicate with research institutes and scientists in Israel and the U.S. to cultivate relationships with potential applicants.
• Supervise the ad-hoc review process with global experts, scientists, or researchers.
• Manage the evaluation processes, including panel member recruitment, orientation meetings, and final resolutions.
• Update program guidelines to ensure alignment with evolving needs.
• Correspond with other funding agencies and prepare written material for meetings (in the US and Israel), including scientific content for internal and external communications.
