The Head of Production is a leader within the Operations department.
This role has full responsibility for sterile manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with GMP and global regulatory requirements. The Head of Production leads and develops the production team, drives operational excellence, and builds the required manufacturing organization and capabilities toward product launch and commercialization, while maintaining continuous inspection readiness including FDA audits.
This position is ideal for professionals with proven leadership in pharmaceutical sterile manufacturing.

• Lead and manage all sterile production activities, ensuring full compliance with GMP, safety, and global regulatory requirements.
• Build, scale, and develop the sterile production team and capabilities toward product launch and commercial supply.
• Deliver production plans on time and in line with demand, capacity, and quality standards.
• Partner cross functionally with QA, QC, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R and D to ensure smooth operations and rapid issue resolution.
• Maintain continuous inspection readiness and lead preparation for participation in, and follow up from FDA and other authority audits.
• Drive operational excellence through monitoring and improving key production KPIs.
• Support capacity expansion, commercial process validation, and technology transfer
Qualifications
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role -MUST.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP, aseptic manufacturing, and regulatory guidelines-MUST.
• Proven experience managing production teams in a sterile manufacturing environment -MUST.
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemical/Industrial Engineering, or related field- MUST.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English (spoken and written)- MUST.
