Carrar is seeking a Battery Testing Engineer to plan, execute, and analyze battery tests at the cell, module, and pack levels. This role is highly hands-on and data-driven, focusing on performance validation, safety testing, and reliability of battery systems throughout development and production phases.
Location: Sderot, Israel (on-site, full-time)
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute test plans for battery cells, modules, and packs, including performance, lifecycle, safety, and environmental testing.
• Support prototype builds and validation testing.
• Operate battery test equipment such as cyclers, thermal chambers, power supplies, load banks, and DAQ systems.
• Analyze test data to evaluate capacity, efficiency, degradation, thermal behavior, and failure modes.
• Define test procedures, acceptance criteria, and reporting formats in alignment with product requirements and standards.
• Support abuse, stress, and safety testing (thermal, electrical, mechanical) in controlled lab environments.
