Carrar is seeking an experienced Vice President of R&D to lead our multidisciplinary research and development efforts. This executive role is central to developing and scaling our battery and thermal management technologies. The VP will manage all R&D functions-including thermal systems, heat transfer, mechanical design, control algorithms, and data analysis-ensuring alignment with Carrar’s business strategy and product roadmap.
Location: Sderot, Israel (on-site, full-time)
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the R&D roadmap in alignment with commercial, product, and operational goals.
• Technology Development: Lead development of Carrar’s core technologies, including advanced battery modules and two-phase thermal systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Project Management, Procurement, and Admin to ensure seamless development and delivery cycles.
• Team Building & Mentorship: Recruit, grow, and lead a high performing team of engineers and scientists.
