We’re looking for a technically strong Hardware Architect to own hardware design and architecture for our products. This is a technical lead role - you’ll be hands-on with design while mentoring junior engineers and guiding technical decisions. The area of development will be our family of telemetry hardware for monitoring the cold chain. You will be the technical authority for the entire physical layer, bridging the gap between theoretical RF physics, analogue and digital circuit design, to mass-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Architecture
o Define and evolve overall hardware architecture strategy for the product line
o Design test jigs and fixtures for development, validation, and production
o Understand communication protocols and create high-level protocol descriptions.
o Break products into subsystems; define test/development strategies for each and integrate them into a full system

- Components base knowledge and selection

- Schematic design
o Implement schematics for the architectures you develop
o Collaborate with a PCB designer.

- Powering
o Have a good understanding of the characteristics of lithium and non-lithium batteries and be able to build reliable and highly repeatable power systems using them.

- RF Design, compliance, troubleshooting & Optimization

- Analog Mastery- Develop cost-optimized task-oriented precise enough analog signal chains.

- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams
