Basic Job Purpose:
The product manager is responsible for all in bound marketing aspects of the product line, from product inception to launch and post launch customer surveillance. The Product Manager is responsible for defining product requirements and appropriate features into product releases by combining inputs coming from the marketing & sales teams, customers, R&D, regulatory, and manufacturing. The product manager is supporting the development of marketing communication tools and global campaigns. The position involves close interaction with other Product Managers, R&D Group leaders, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Service, Sales, Regulation, marketing, and key customers.
· Responsible for market analysis and competitors landscape (including pricing, positioning, product offering and sales channels)
· Responsible for new product development from inception to launch: defining and documenting the product requirement specification (PRS) based on market and competitive insights, writing the financial business case and steering the product development for launch on time and on budget.
Direct product design to reflect business objectives by working closely with the Marketing, R&D, RA, Service, Operations teams and Project management throughout the project execution
Be the guardian to assure that the implemented product meets the user needs the best way possible and according to predefined spec.
Assist the R&D Project Manager in defining alternatives when tradeoffs are required
Supports the development of marketing communication tools for relevant products including campaign briefing, guiding execution and ensuring fit to regional needs
Responsible for defining the professional marketing strategy for his/her specific products including defining clinical studies required, definition of endorsement activities and licensing with relevant KOLs
Supports the development of the long term strategy and roadmap for the product line
Accountable for meeting regulatory requirements for relevant products in terms of meeting process, documentation and communication requirements – based on regional specifications.
Responsible for product enhancements post release – working with engineering to define priority and spec
Supporting all product related activities such as pricing, forecast, production
Responsible for all product training tools, internal and external, in addition to educating sales force about the product
Responsible of building all marketing collaterals, B2B and B2C, related to the product
Responsible for all demo equipment that is under the BU budget.

Bachelor’s degree is required – Life sciences/ Bio-technology/ Engineering.Marketing

2 years experience in a product management or related role at a devices company. Medical device company- advantage
Global markets work experience.
Proven ability to deliver successful, market-driven products in an efficient and profitable manner
Ability to quickly dive into technological details of the product
Good business analysis skills and the ability to extract requirements via interfacing with the customer
Must be passionate and charismatic and be able to instill those qualities in others, both internally and externally
